Liquid Injection

Liquid injection is the most common injection technique used in GC and the first step to see widespread automation. The liquid sample should ideally comprise analytes dissolved in a volatile solvent, which does not interfere with the chromatographic separation or detection of the analytes. Alcohol is used to disinfect the skin prior to injections in order to prevent infections caused by bacteria on the skin being injected within tissue.Make your injection liquid. Melt a stick of unsalted butter and combine with hot sauce, lemon juice, chicken broth, salt, onion powder, and garlic powder and whisk together.
