The corneal absorption and transport of drugs according to the hydrodynamic principles are outlined. The different sites for ocular drug delivery/administration such as topical, intraocular, intravitreal, juxtascleral, intracameral, subconjunctival, retrobulbar are discussed in detail with recent advancements and limitations.
